Carl has been accepted to a very special school. Not very many have the opportunity to attend.
For the next two evenings, Carl will be attending TRAFFIC SCHOOL!
He got a speeding ticket last week on his way to work. Oops.

Poor Carl. The last time I went to traffic school was on the day of prom. No kidding. A cheerleader from my school was there too. I asked the cop if it was illegal to apply mascara while driving.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is no, although it isn't recommended.
Tony has been to that special school as well! Although, it was before we were married, so it's been a while.
ReplyDeleteThat's a funny story Catherine. Ha ha!
*rolling in the floor* Steve has until Feb to complete a 4 hr course for his two traffic tickets!!! One when we are on our way back from my dad's funeral and then as soon as we got that Grand Kia VAN we got off the interstate and were cruising -the ride was so smooth in our new van -too bad we were going 65 in a 40. Since we had temp tags the cop gave us a break :)
ReplyDeleteI hope they let him do traffic school in lieu of the point on his record. That's how it works here. Larry has done it twice, and Jared and I went once each. Now we can even do it online! What convenience! :)
ReplyDeleteJanet-it won't go on his record since he is doing the school. It is 8 hours and $75! I haven't had a ticket since we lived in Oklahoma and I'm the speed demon! He feels really horrible about it all. I think mainly because it was a silly mistake (he wasn't even really in a hurry) and it is costing him time and money.
ReplyDeleteTell Carl to say hello to the teachers from Matt and I. . . .we've both been there. .. .twice.
ReplyDeleteJason's been to traffic school, he got stuck in traffic on the way there and was 3 minutes late and they made him sign up for another time. It was such a hassle and the class was so long and expensive that we decided next time just to pay the ticket and hope our insurance doesn't go up too badly. I personally think there are more important criminals to catch out there, leave us alone!
ReplyDeleteRemember the time you got pulled over when we were on our way to church where you were speaking in sacrament meeting. Then, your mom and Lisa drove by and honked and waved. He let you off when he found out we were on our way to church. Good times.
ReplyDeleteAnd I obviously didn't read your posts in order.
Tiffany--Your mind is amazing!!! You remember all sorts of good stuff from my life. Maybe I blocked those things out? I had forgotten all about that.
ReplyDeleteI did that. I decided I'd rather poke my eye out with a spoon that attend another one. It was one of the most painful moments of my time in Nebraska. I'll be thinking of him.
