Remember the skating "incident"? It's been a fair amount of time and truth be told, my bum is feeling better. I don't rely on Aleve as much as I did in the past and today at church was the first time it has really bothered me in a week or two. I still am a little slow to get up from the computer chair or the couch but I probably don't use my donut as much as I should. It's hard to carry that thing around all the time. Anyway, I'm considering myself recovered enough that I'm getting back to the Y tomorrow for my workouts. I haven't met my new trainer yet so I'm hoping I'll be able to do that then. I've slacked off for long enough!

  1. Good luck tomorrow with your new trainer. I hope she's good.

I've decided that I need to maek the decision that No, I'm not going to be able to go to Vegas. I really don't want to make that drive all by myself. John volunteered for him and the kids to come, but I told him that kindof defeats the purpose. Anyway, I hope you have a lot of fun.

  2. That's okay. John and the kids weren't invited--that's against the rules! Maybe next year.

If you need any feedback on your trainer, let me know! Our prenatal/ mom-baby programs are really taking off this year, and I'm in a Stroller Strength class that's wiping off my last pregnancy pounds. Phew!
(Check out our link at www.nmsw.com, prenatal/postpartum programs.)
I just emailed Mary a HUGE list of things to do in Vegas, and found out the Orleans is only $60/night for a double queen the 1st two nights, then $80 on Friday. Yeah!
    I'm ready to go!

You too! How was your trainer today?
Mary and I are looking at Celine tickets for Thursday, or Friday. The center is in the 400 rows, ticketmaster seems to be the cheapest, around $79 + $11 service (?) for 2nd mezzanine. I love the panoramic seating views on the web.
I think I'll skip Price is Right, I kept finding bad reviews... bummer.
We should bring more games too!

  6. Megan--those Celine tickets are the seats that were available last I checked. That is fine with me. I'm all about the cheap seats.

FYI: the big lipped guy from the So You Think You Can Dance tryouts is going to be on American Idol this week.
