I'm going to register the car today. I've filled out an application for specialty plates but I don't know if I will actually go through with it.
Faithful blog readers, what would you put on your vanity license plate and what do you think I have chosen for mine?

I would unfortunately be very un-original. I have always wanted the specialized plates from California that have the whale flukes on them, and have just my name KERRY...if it isn't already taken, that is. But here in Kansas, the specialized plates are even uglier than the regular ones. I hope you get a cute one!No clue what you will put on it though.
ReplyDeleteSomething to do with knitting?
ReplyDeleteLV2KNT
or
CRAFTY
I've always liked vanity plates. I'm with Joanne, I thought of "crafty". I have a friend that is a cake decorator and she has "Idocake". I always smile when I see it.
ReplyDeleteCRAFTY is taken. I decided not to do it today. I have the forms all filled out and I think I'll give them to Carl so he can get them for my birthday or something. Here were my 3 choices:
ReplyDelete1. KNITTER
2. K2TOG
3. YO TEJO (I KNIT in Spanish)
I have vanity plates and they are a reference to the college my husband and I went to. I like them, but my husband finds them embarrassing.

I wouldn't be too popular around here if I had plates from the university my husbnad and I attended. He's now a professor at a rival school.
ReplyDelete*plus--they're already taken--I checked!*
How fun. I think you should get something like STAMPER
ReplyDeletewhat about NL DMD
ReplyDeleteor SWT CRLNE??
Mine would be U WISH, but that's only if I got some sweet ride to put them on. . .
I've got one!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can borrow it if you like since we're in different states, but when I get my mini-van my plates will be:
ps113 9
Which is Pslam 113:9 "He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord!"
I'm not too sure if that's too much information for other drivers, but it's my life!
You all have excellent ideas and I'm glad I didn't turn in my application just yet. I think I'm going to have to mull over it a bit more and pick something super special!
ReplyDeleteI would have to go with the "yo tejo." Spanish rules. :)
