that is awesome! i made banana bread yesterday for my women's prayer brunch instead of nuts i added chocolate chips. but i also like if with nothing added. it's my fav from my grandmother.. i'm off to find out if your recipe is close to mine!
Found it! I don't quite understand where it says to add dry ingredients alternating with 7up. Does that mean just put a little of the 7up between each one? I'm assuming it would work just as well with sprite as 7up too right?
I'm too chicken to try it with Sprite. I always use 7up. You're right about the alternating. Add a little bit of the dry ingredients, add some 7up, more dry, more 7up, etc...
So can we convince you to share your banana bread recipe with the rest of us?
ReplyDeleteI actually posted the recipe almost exactly 2 years ago! Check the June 2005 archive. Sometimes I can't believe I've been blogging for 2 1/2 years.

You always win! Good job, Christy! I hope it came with some good prize money.
ReplyDeleteNo prize money. Just blessings. At least, that's what they flier said.
