Buddy Bags

I first saw these bags on Jessica's blog and I thought they were the cutest things ever. The little animals on the bags are actually finger puppets. The pattern can be found here. It is a $6 pattern available for instant pdf download. I think I'm going to start one tonight. I just can't decide which one. I can also use my new found sewing skills to put in fabric liners. How awesome is that?

  1. Those are sooo cute. You'll have to make me one :-). I have no knitting time whatsoever right now.

I love them too! I have to make them for my kids.
What yarn are you going to use?

Those are so cute. I am thinking with your skills you could make them pretty fast as well.

  5. I was planning on using Caron Simply Soft (one of my favorite acrylics) but when I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday (it was on sale) they didn't have a good variety of colors. I did manage to snag some pinks and a yellow so I guess I might start the pink one.
Vanna White has a new acrylic yarn called Vanna's Choice (for Lion Brand). That could be an option as well.

Vanna White sells yarn?! Have I just stepped into some alternate-reality universe?

  7. Vanna White is a long time spokesperson for Lion Brand Yarn. She crochets like crazy. I even have a couple of her books!

Those really ARE cute! But I don't knit! I crochet! Hmmm... wonder if I could translate the pattern to crochet somehow? ;)
