Productivity

The boys are at church and Eva's asleep. I have a quiet house and I'm not sure exactly what to do with myself. Here are any number of things I could/should be doing:

  • taking a nap myself--my fever is under control but a little sleep couldn't hurt
  • making dinner
  • reading a book--I just finished Peter Pan in Scarlet and am still working on The Fountainhead
  • knitting--I have a birthday sock to finish, and several other projects that could use my attention
  • laundry--I'm a little behind since I was sick yesterday but I'm probably going to procrastinate at least a day more--who wants to do laundry on a Sunday? Not me!
  • watching tv--I have a bunch of shows I need to get through to delete so I can have more room on the DVR. But, I probably won't do this either (unless I decide to knit)
  • blogging--actually, I'm done with this for today. I've blogged at 3 different sites today and now I'm done (here, ldsreaders, and Sticks and Stamps).

  1. Hey! I'm home with a sicko too. She woke up puking last night. She's asleep now, with about 12 towels all around her to curb the mess should the "up-HEAVE-al" begin again. I keep telling myself that I'm NOT getting sick, I'm NOT getting sick.

    Hope you're doing better!

  2. Good luck, Wendy! I hope you don't get sick, too. I'm certainly not as sick as Eva and Caleb never really came down with it so I'm grateful for that!

Maybe they'll get it out of their system now so they'll be ready to party like 2 yr. olds on Wednesday!

  3. Missed you at church today. I assumed it was because Eva was still sick. Hope she is ready to party on her birthday and that you are in good shape to handle the party.

I just wanted to leave a quick comment so that you don't think I've forgotten about you. I am still working on your socks and the second they are finished, I'll mail the final package.

  5. Sockret Pal--not worried at all! You've been so good to me. Can't wait to see the socks.

My friend told me the original meaning of the word "slut" meant a woman who does laundry on a Sunday - so that's my excuse (for not doing laundry on a Sunday!).
