If I post once a day, my 1,000th post will occur on MONDAY!!! That's the plan, people. Keep commenting to get your entries for the giveaway. There was a question about the links. If you include a link to me in a blog post, let me know and you'll get an extra entry. Example: Christy is such an awesome blogger! Go comment on her posts for a chance to win her giveaway in honor of reaching 1,000 posts.
Easy!
Answer to yesterday's question: Sam likes Hufflepuff and Joe likes Ravenclaw. Kerry gets extra credit for her superior knowledge of even which kind of scarf they preferred.
Today's question: What is my favorite book of all time? (HINT: Sept 2007)
I worked on getting our Christmas cards out last night. Here's the deal. No cards! I feel a little weird not sending cards considering that's WHAT I DO!!! It just seemed a little late to send an actual Christmas card so I'm going to save them for next year or post them to my etsy shop for next Christmas. Instead some of you will just get a picture and some will get a picture and a letter. Actually, if you read my blog I didn't include a letter because I basically pulled all the information off of here.

Yeah for lowering the bar. . .and don't forget. . .being awesome!
ReplyDeleteAs for your book, I think it's the same as my sister, The Count of Monte Cristo, definitely the unabridged version, which is on my read list!
Count of monte cristo but if you asked me when i was little i would have said count of monty crisco. :-D
ReplyDeleteThe Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Didn't need the archives for that one. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm linking to you today.
And I'm fine with the no card thing. I got several "minimalist" cards this year with a sentence about each family member and something about how the mom is exhausted. I still haven't gotten around to sending them out yet but it's ok because didn't Heather send hers in February last year? And I loved it too. I'm considering joining the Christmas email revolution.
I don't even need to look! Your favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo. I know how you feel about late Christmas cards. I just finished the last of mine on the 26th. We are looking forward to the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI too did not even have to look this one up. The Count of Monte Cristo..totally.I can thank book group for that knowledge. And hurray for me and extra credit! Woo-hoo! And, I am totally shamed myself about the lack of Christmas cards sent this year. I am aiming for a Velentines' card and newsletter this year I guess. And I am planning to have my Christmas cards made by Halloween in 2008. We'll see if that happens!
ReplyDeleteyou could always go for stretching the holiday out or Christmas in July. start something new!
ReplyDeleteI heard on the radio how some guy got his friend to send his christmas cards out this year with the return address saying Heaven, since he's dead... pretty funny. or maybe i'm just demented.
as for the book i remember you saying something about the Count of Monte Cristo.. i remember it b/c i just watched it.
I actually remember this post because I remember thinking that I should read the book: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll get it at the library this week. I'm in a book rut and can't find anything that I'm interested in.
p.s. I've decided to give up on paper cards next year. I got more digital than paper this Christmas and decided I liked them better. Because really, what do you do with the cards once you've read them? (If you're me you hang on to them for a while out of guilt and then toss them some time in January.)
ReplyDeleteYep the count of Monte Crisco :) I live the movie :) The french version of course .....
