You know what I want (besides this cake, of course)? Comments on what age you think is the best and lots of donations to Autism Speaks. Click here.
I think 33 is going to be a great year!
eta: a lot of people have been asking me how much we've raised so far...the tally as of 10am this morning is $290. I can't believe how amazing this is! Last year we raised $300. This year my goal is $500. We're definitely on track! THANKS!!!

Happy Birthday Christy! I can't wait to come hang out with you in a few weeks! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!!
ReplyDeletefavorite age... I think 41 will be an awesome year!
Why? because Corynn will have graduated and we will be kid-free-empty-nesters! woo-hoo!
Just kiddin- I'm liking 28
Time goes by too fast!
ReplyDeleteThe best age is the age you are!
Mom
26 has been a rough year for me, so I'm hoping 27 will be better.
ReplyDeletehappy birthday! I enjoyed Wednesday nights and hope to come regularly--I will probably always be late though, because I have to put my son down AT 7Pm. Thanks again for teaching me how to "purl!"
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite age was 20--the year I got married and we went on 3 vacations!!!!
I agree with your Mom. I always think the age I am is the best age ever, no matter how old I am at the time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! I wish I could come play bunko tonight... stupid work! :)
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with everyone who is saying their favorite age is the age they are. Doesn't it kinda have to be? It would be so depressing to think your favorite age was already gone!
That's a lovely cake! If it were made of chocolate I would be at your door in a flash (that is, IF there were flights available)! Have a terrific day and year.
ReplyDeleteTo be really honest, I'd like to be 40 again.
The best age??? I don't know. I hope to find it soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd Happy Birthday. Some of my students know it is your birthday today because I impart such important information the Friday before CRTs (big bad tests--ya know, No Child Left Behind).
The best age definitly has to be 18 months. You can do just about anything and then smile and get away with it. You can walk around in your birthday suit, with chubby arms and legs and a big 'ol potbelly and people will think it's the cutest thing they have ever seen. You can be recklessly fearless when you want, and then timid and shy the next. You can understand what people are telling you what to do and then completely ignore it by pretending you don't understand. You can eat pretty much anything you want, take at least one nap a day, and have people cater to pretty much your every want and whim.
ReplyDeleteYeah, 18 months is a pretty great age.
But I bet 33 is, too. :)
I could not wait for my 30th - I felt like I had been 30 already forever!!! I had a great time playing Bunko and can't wait to do it again!
ReplyDeleteHappy B-day again!!!
Happy Late Birthday Christy!!! Sorry, I was a little late. I just got back from the DC temple. I hope you had a great one though!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think 33 is a great year but I vote for 18 months being pretty awesome and carefree....
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated birthday! Sorry, I'm really behind on a lot of things right now or I would have typed sooner. I'm glad to hear your day went well.
