Stylin'

Might I recommend a great place to get your hair done here in Lincoln? Classic Styles on 48th & Calvert is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from my house. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Inside it is gorgeous, clean, and the staff is helpful and professional. It was the best salon experience I've ever had. Christina's in Lafayette is close, for the childcare, if nothing else. Instead of finding a sitter for Eva, I thought she could do with a little pampering herself. She was really excited and a little disappointed when they didn't cut her hair. I thought they might clip off a little of the ends but they thought it should grow out a little more. Fine by me!
She got a shampoo and then the stylist combed out her curls and added some product. It is some curl defining cream that Eva was in desperate need of. No more poof! Even with all her rolling around on the carpet, her hair stayed in pretty curls. Worth every penny.

Eva was such a good girl in there. She sat on the chair and watched my cut being finished. She seemed really interested. I've always thought she had a lot in common with her Aunt Lisa. Maybe her love of hair will stay with her.

I didn't get any after pictures. You'll be able to see her pretty curls when we get our family pics, though.
