National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is all about promoting awareness for early detection and screening for breast cancer. I've got my fair share of breasts so I thought I'd spread the word a bit on my blog. This cause has really gone mainstream in the past several years and you can't go anywhere without seeing pink ribbons or pink products you can buy to help the cause. I thought I'd use that as a little inspiration this morning for a card I made.
This card uses the Upsy Daisy stamp set. I stamped it using pretty in pink ink on pretty in pink paper. I also used some retired designer paper on the top. I stamped the sentiment, "you're on my mind" on barely banana paper. If you were to send this card to someone that needs a little pick me up...you need GLITTER! I used my two way glue pen and some dazzling diamonds on the daisies for some subtle shimmer. This was a really fun card to make and I'm sure will brighten someone's day!
Find something that inspires you today and make something!

Of COURSE you need glitter. The only thing I love almost as much as embossing is glittery highlights.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! The yellow and white paper tones down the pink just enough to make it very classy, not at all bubblegummy (my usual complaint about some Breast Cancer Awareness products).
