Part One

While in Oklahoma, we decided to do some shopping. We didn't get anything. The kids had a blast on the waterslide. This was on our first day and they didn't bother to put on their swimsuits.
Check out this monstrosity of fun! They LOVED it! As you can see, Eva preferred to climb up the slide. This was no easy feat as it had water streaming down it. But, she prevailed most every time.
Carl took over at this monstrosity of a grill! How awesome is that? It is Carl's birthday today. He decided to spend it at Scout Camp. He'll be back tomorrow morning and I'm making him a pie.
And, here is Caleb enjoying some time with his herd. He spent so much time following them around. He would put them in the coop, take them out, follow them around, and sometimes just stand by them with his hands over his ears. If the bigger geese came out of the pond, Caleb thought it his sacred duty to chase them back onto the water.

  1. They have so much cooler toys for kids now. Our kids have no idea. Ok, that makes me sound like a fogey. (when I was a kid our waterslides were made out of a splintered old board with rusty nails sticking out of it...)

    Happy Birthday Carl!

  2. Happy Birthday Carl!

Looks like such a fun trip. I think it is funny that there was a sign for a Factory outlet but that there were no stores there. Too funny.

I've seen so many people with those water slides. Looks like a lot of fun. I think my kids would love something like that. For now they're mostly just content with our jumpy thingy though. Someday when they're bigger and the jumpy thingy isn't as exciting for them maybe we'll find something else on the market that is fun for bigger kids.

Too funny that Caleb would chase the geese around. Kids do the funniest things. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
