Paris: The Update
Looks like Carl won't have to go to the appointment in Denver after all. The passport is on its way. It will either get here tomorrow or Tuesday. Looks like the call from the congressman put him to the top of the list. Thanks for the tip, Peggy! Now we're sad we didn't think of it ourselves earlier last week so he could have had it in time to leave on his normally scheduled flight. But, if for no other reason, I'm glad he was here this weekend because the kids have been so wild and I've needed backup more than once. Not to mention I was able to get and finish Book 7 which I probably would still be reading if he hadn't been here.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to ask you a question. I starting looking at Knit Pligg after you discussed here and I do like it but....all it seems to have is postings about socks.
Do you know of any other websites like it that may have other knitted objects?

You can check out ravelry.com. They have all sorts of stuff. There is a long waiting list to become a member since it is still in beta testing but you can certainly see what other people are up to.

I already in on ravelry (hehe) and I love it but I am always looking for more!

ReplyDeleteRavelry is unbelievable but I have not had the time to photograph and catalog my stash and completed items. That thought is overwhelming, with four kids needing to be run everywhere. But I will get it done soon.
ReplyDeleteBut all of the projects and ideas and links are awesome. You can get lost in it for hours.
