In my project 365 pictures from last week I included a hint of something I was making. It was something that I had a dream about and then just had to make it.
It is about 95% done right now. I still need to add a nose/mouth. Carl said it needs a tail, too. If only all bunnies had rainbow boucle bums. Pattern: I used the rabbit pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts (with a few of my own alterations).
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for the body, Joann Sensations Bamboo boucle for the scarf, ears, and tail.
Pink buttons from my stash for the eyes.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with this. I thought I might give it to Eva but it already sparked some major sibling contention. If I sell it on etsy, I'd list it for $40. I know that is a little steep for a stuffed bunny but for the time and materials, it is fair. Maybe I'll just keep it for myself? It is my favorite color!

That's really cute Christy! I can totally see how that would cause sibling contention. Aren't kids fun!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing ever. I wish I had your knitting talent!
ReplyDeleteThe bunny is adorable!! You should raffle it to raise $$ for Autism...unless you really need it for yourself. :)
ReplyDeleteGood call, arbee!
ReplyDeleteI love your rabbit! I haven't attempted to knit a toy yet, but yours is so cute, I realize I should. I have some cute patterns, just need to sit down and do it! :) I love reading your blog and drawing inspiration from it. Thanks!
