Kansas City, Here We Come!

Girls Weekend 2008 planning is in full force. Would you like to join us? Mark your calendars for June 6-8! As soon as I have a head count, I'll make a reservation. So far I have me, Tiffany, Megan, and Shannon. Kerry will be joining us on most of our excellent adventures but will be staying at her house to sleep.

Rules: Do whatever you feel like whenever you want. Have fun. No kids. No husbands. No whining.

We're planning on finding a hotel near Country Club Plaza and the Nelson-Atkins Museum (free admission!) or Crown Center (free concerts on Friday night). For lodging I would budget about $100-120 per person (I'm hoping this is a generous amount--we're going to try for less than that) for the two nights. Make sure to plan on eating some world famous KC BBQ!

Sound like fun?

I think it is just the thing you wanted for Mother's Day, right?

To be included on this super-fun adventure, I need you to let me (or Kerry) know by Friday night. I'll be making reservations on Saturday. If you are going already, you can poke around the internet and see what you might want to do or where you would want to stay and let me know!

  4. So sad - but I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it this year. :( But I am definitely going to budget for it for 2009!

You should be sure to check out "First Friday" in the art district near Westport. It's worth the crowd!
