Teletubbie Sweater

I finished the Teletubbie leftover sweater. It was a quick and easy knit. I knit from sleeve to sleeve so I could get those vertical stripes on the front and all I had to do when I was finished knitting was seam up the sides and the sleeves. I made the neck a little too big but it is perfect to go over a turtleneck or another shirt. I used Caron Simply Soft (it is really soft and cheap) and the bamboo yarn from a swap. This sweater cost me $0. Pretty darn good! Even Carl was muy impressed.

Oh, that is so adorable! Well done. I like the way you did her hair.

PS. Doesn't Carl ever read your blog??

  2. So impressed...You are so good at that. Once I learned to knit in young womens and started a project that was supposed to be a baby blanket for my child one day. It ended up a very long shoe string and that is the extent of knitting in my life. I look at this and wonder... "How on Earth? I saw the beginning of this like a week ago if that?" Obviously I missed out not pursuing that shoe string further. Like enough to turn around... It looks darling! Great job!

  4. Janet- Carl rarely reads my blog. In fact, he usually only does when I ask him to read a post. I think he figures that he "lives it" so he doesn't need to read about it. Eric calls him sometimes at work to tell him stuff I write about him, though.
