Since I'm working on my menu plans for February, I thought I'd post what we're eating this week.
Mon: Tacos--corn tortillas, chicken or steak, diced white onions, cilantro, & a squeeze of lime. That's it, You need nothing else for a most excellent authentic Mexican taco.
Tues: Sirloin Citrus Salad (using extra steak from taco night) also: I am having a Lia Sophia party so I will be making black bean & jicama salad w/ vinaigrette to be eaten with chips (regular tortilla and/or pita). Veggie tray, too!
Wed: Pizza day. We always go and get a Little Caesar's pizza after piano lessons. I'll probably have a piece or two and some soup.
Thurs: Breakfast for Dinner---omlettes
Fri: Date Night. I think we are actually going out to eat before the V-day dance.
Sat: Stir fry
Sun: Leftover stir fry, I hope!

I love omlettes for dinner. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteCan I come live with you this week? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHats off to you. I can never seem to get my menu planned out and then stick to it. I guess I need to come up with a system.
ReplyDeleteOoo, you have to let me know what you think of the Lia Sophia stuff. I've been to a Faith party and was not impressed, and another that I couldn't even check out it was so pricey ($300+!). I love how many bracelets Lia has, ALL earrings give me an allergic reaction and my ears swell like strawberries, even with clear nail polish on the backings, so bracelets are my thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Megan in NM
Megan-I really like Lia Sophia jewelry. I've been to two parties before but this time I fell for the "booker hooker". Hostesses get a few pieces for $15 (if under $100--$20 if it is over). There was a necklace I really wanted but it was $84. So, by having a party I get it for $15. Now, I'm happy! ;)
ReplyDeleteYummm. Can I come over?? That steak and citrus salad sounds tasty. (Recipe, please???)
