Brrr

Carl is about to leave for a scout campout. The boys get to sleep in a cabin but the leaders have to sleep in a tent. Here is the forecast:

  • Tonight: Mainly cloudy this evening. Then a mix of wintry precipitation expected overnight. Low 24F. Winds ESE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precip 70%.
  • Tomorrow: Windy...with a mix of rain and freezing rain in the morning. Rain in the afternoon. High around 45F. Winds SE at 20 to 30 mph.

The scouts might be prepared but they aren't very smart. Who would willingly go and camp in weather like this? I guess now I know the answer to that.

  2. Hmmm. Here in Washington it's the beginning of December. What month is it in Nebraska? Can't they think of anything else to do in the winter? It seems like Carl goes camping with them a lot.

  3. They go once a month on an overnighter. It does seem a bit excessive...but, what can I do? He loves it.
