Tonight is the big game. I'm really looking forward to it. So much so that I'm leaving my house today wearing an OU sweatshirt. This normally wouldn't be a big deal...but I live in Lincoln, NEBRASKA. My car has an OU alumni license plate holder. My van is CRIMSON! My oldest son was born at the OU Medical Center (Sooner born, baby!). I can't help but cheer for the Sooners.
Do y'all know how much I love college football season?
p.s. Don't call me during the game. We have our church Christmas party that doesn't end until after the game has started. Due to the magic of DVR, we'll be watching it on a slight delay. The EQ president is coming over to watch it, too. He's a die-hard Husker. Should be fun!

David is watching the game and is a wreck. He rarely watches football. The only tie we have to Oklahoma is Davids ancestors came from there. We lived in Lincoln so we're cheering for the Huskers. Go Huskers!

Boomer Sooner indeed and amen! (Though Rocky Graham was quick to point out that Heavenly Father doesn't care about football games when we beat OSU last week.)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad we won. I wish the game would have been a little more close...for excitement purposes. The first 45 seconds kind of set the pace.
OK, I've never heard this Nebraska joke before. It was told in RS today.

ReplyDeleteTiffany--I think that is SO FUNNY that they told that joke in church! If Nebraska had won I'm sure I would have heard some doozies today. Maybe not so surprisingly...there wasn't a lot of talk about last night's game.
