Pajama Party

I'm having a pajama party today. I refuse to put on my real clothes. I was going to go to the Y today but decided against it. Why? It's COLD and SNOWY outside. The chances of me getting down the driveway are pretty slim. I would also have to spend about 30 minutes scraping the van. The kids would take forever to bundle up (me too) and the thought of doing that and trying to drive the 5 miles to the Y just to unload them and work out and then load everyone back up again seems too daunting. The wind chill is -16. To my friends and family in Oklahoma, bundle up. It's coming your way. When it gets there, we're actually supposed to warm up. I've never looked forward to 30 degree weather before. So, I think staying inside is just fine. Plus, I'll get to hear Frog say the same joke over and over again like he has the past three days.

Frog: Why'd the chicken cross the road?
Answer: Weedeater.

I know. It doesn't make sense. I blame the VeggieTales.

  1. I think if you actually went through the torture of getting to the Y, you'd have done a better work out than anything you could do AT the Y. Have some wassail and stay warm! I wish you were here in the warm desert!

You should just walk up and down your stairs at home! It's great for your booty and even better when you skip a stair. That's why I'm so hot......

  3. Loser--I'm kind of like Grandma J when it comes to stairs. Going up I'm okay. Going down I'm a freak that has to hold on to the wall and walk like...well, a grandma.

I'll probably stick in one of my amazing workout videos. Or, dance to the awesome Neil Diamond Christmas CD. Who knew a Jew could sing such great Christmas carols? LOVE IT!

  4. Gary England has been warning us about the weather. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm such a wimp in the face of cold, snow, and ice.

Weedeater means "we would eat her," I suppose.
