I finally came out of the closet and revealed myself to my secret pal. You can find her here at her blog. It's Amy from Some Call Them Sticks and Strings. I was worried that somehow she would find out it was me because a knitter she knows well is a blog reader here (Jessica at Naturally Knitty). Plus, I was Jessica's sister's secret pal for SP4 (Allena at Star Knits). It's turning out to be a small knitting blog world indeed.
I think I'm going to take a Secret Pal break (at least for the 7th edition). I don't know whether it was the holiday season or not but I just had a hard time keeping up with everything.
Speaking of the holiday season...Sugar Daddy's family is coming to visit. They arrive late Friday night. I've been busy trying to get the house in order. The basement has been command central for my card making, gift wrapping, and Frog distracting. It's a little messy. Frog got into some gift wrap and thought it would make a good confetti-like floor covering. So, I've got just a few more days to turn that into a place worthy to be called "Hotel Nelson". I also need to finish Big Apple's stocking although the chances of that happening before Christmas are pretty slim. Oh well. She's a baby. Don't tell her!

I'm so proud of myself for doing Elizabeth's stocking, I even put her name on it cross-stitched. It took forever. If I have more kids they are getting a short name, like Pam, or Kim, or maybe just a letter like Q.
ReplyDeleteEva won't take me too long to put across the top. It's just that I chose a crazy one with way too many pieces to applique.
ReplyDeleteMore short names: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Bo Bice.
Just adorable!
