I finally cleaned up the sidebar on my blog. It's been bugging me for some time but I never got around to doing anything about it until today. I also added a ticker for my 1st weight loss goal of 10 lbs. Once I reach that goal, I'm getting a massage. Oooh. I'll update that every week when I do my PFA blog entry.
I also got around to cleaning up around the house some today. With two little kids, it's a never-ending process (especially cleaning the living room where they play) but I feel good about what I accomplished today. I'm almost done with the laundry.
My next big job is to tackle the organization of my bills. I have a basket that I throw everything in but it gets so cluttered and I have to clean it out every time I pay bills. It's not working for me. I've got to come up with a better system and a better place to keep it. Right now it is on the kitchen table so if we ever want to eat there (and have more than 2 people sit down at a time), I have to move the basket. I'd like a permanent place for this stuff but it may not happen in the near future. But, I'm going to work on it. While I hate cleaning; I love to organize. I love throwing things out and putting things in containers and stuff. Fun fun fun!

You have a cleaned up side-bar, but I don't even have a side-bar, maybe I need to make an appointment with you. p.s. it's "today's temp. is today's price at Runza until the 10th. . .yippee!"
ReplyDeleteI forgot to comment about the bills thing. I used to always just leave them in a pile and it always seemed like one got missed and although I haven't done it lately one thing that worked was actually taping the envelopes up on the wall by my desk, it was awfully depressing seeing how many bills it was but they got sent out and I felt better when most of them were off the wall (only to be back on in a few more days. . but still.)
ReplyDeletehave you tried Flylady.com
ReplyDelete& her "office in a bag" idea?
Keep all your bills, etc. in a zippered notebook. Use Wed & Fri as "office day".
