I finished my February pair of socks just in time for me to start on my Olympic knitting. These socks are for my sister, Lisa (aka "loser" in the comments).
Pattern: Child's First Socks from Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks.
Yarn: Fortissima Socka
Some thoughts: I would definitely use this yarn again. I really enjoyed working with it. The pattern was also great. I thought it would tie me down to the book, but the shell pattern was really easy to memorize. It was very intuitive and I could knit on these "mindlessly" even though it looks complicated. I hope Lisa likes them!
Here's a pic of Big Apple. I was in the bathroom and when I came out, Frog had given her a lollipop! She was so cute with it that I let her keep it.

ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned lately that I want your baby? I don't mean that in a creepy, baby-snatching way -- I just want a clone of her.
