I spent all day yesterday and the Season of Crafts and while the company was top notch, the sales were sub par. Because of that, I've been feeling crafty lazy today. I usually get at least a little crafting in on Sundays. For example, I've got a quilt top I'm working on for a humanitarian project. I've also got a few little things I'd like to whip up for the kids. But, I can't bring myself to do it. I can't even bring myself to unload the box from yesterday. It is here in my room but I haven't opened it yet. I'm so lazy--the camera is in there so I'm postponing Project 365 today. I might do it later tonight. Who knows.
While I've been crafty lazy, I haven't been completely lazy. I'm making Thanksgiving dinner. Since we were gone over the holiday we missed out on having a turkey of our own with awesome leftovers. So, I bought a 12 lb. turkey for $9 (gotta love the after Thanksgiving sale) and I'm cooking it up today. I'm also on the quest for the perfect yeast roll. I'm trying a new recipe today. I hope it is good. The dough looks great if that is any indication.
Even I need to take a break from being crafty every once in a while. Today's the day.
But, don't you worry. I'll be back in super full force crafty mode later this week. The "I Made it Myself" replacement is about to be unveiled!
