Sweater No More

Sweetness. This was a sweater I made a year ago using Jo Sharp Silkroad yarn. I bought the yarn on clearance from my LYS. The yarn just wasn't the right fit for this kind of sweater. Plus, I knit it a little too big for my taste. So, I rarely wore it. I love looking at it, though. The colors are really great. It needs to become something else soon but it won't unless I take some drastic measures.

Today, I started to rip it out. This is how far I got before I was going to have to do some fanagaling of the arms. I don't know what I'm going to do with all of the yarn but some of it is going into a scarf for my ISE3 pal.

It amazes me that you can unravel your work and then poof...another creation. It adds new meaning to recycle for me.

  2. Yep. Yarn is more important to me than a sweater I won't wear.
